How Our Group Training is Structured
We structure our group classes each day into a few different focus areas.
Depending on the day, you will improve upon:
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Strength and Conditioning classes are designed to improve overall strength, power and fitness. We split our S&C sessions into upper or lower body sessions and the exercises vary in each session to help you achieve the best possible result. We create these workouts with all fitness levels in mind— substitutions and modifications are always offered for beginners or trainees with varying abilities and strengths.
TECHNIQUE & CONDITIONING
Technique and Conditioning classes are a great opportunity to learn new skills and improve techniques. We initially set this program up to train our athletes competing in CrossFit competitions however, we have found that our regular everyday athletes really enjoyed these sessions so we implemented it into our structure. We start these sessions with a specific skill suitable for both the beginners and more advanced, and then we finish the class with a CXT style workout that improves overall strength, power and fitness.
HIGH-INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT)
HIIT is high-intensity interval training. This is perfect for all fitness levels because you work at your own pace. This method is a combination of work and rest that is determined by a specific time. Our usual HIIT sessions would involve circuit training or interval training, both of which are great ways to improve your fitness.
COACH'S CHOICE
The Coach’s Choice classes are designed by the Coach on the day. The Coach will get to choose what workout they want to do and how they want to do it. Generally, it’s thirty minutes of full-body exercises with a mixture of strength, power and conditioning however, only the trainer will know what you’re in for.
